its amazing because… im at a point in my life now where i can say i really been through that before and no one questions the authenticity of it. i can say whole-heartedly “i have learned from past experience” because… i have past experience. im also at a point in my life where i question which direction would have been better. being ignorant to all the potential challenges of chasing a dream, failing graciously and settling into an altered reality of happiness, or experiencing every step of the journey. feeling every shock of pain… the weight of every moment where i have to dig myself out of another bad situation.
my dreaming began in 2011. it was this name, this logo, this ideology that set things in motion. it is my identity, blessing, gift, curse, everything. it was a music label, video production company, another music label, dead, brought back to life, and now… its just something that exists. with no trajectory or focus… an extension of my brain and the way that i process thought. everything that i consume and create is seen thru this lens.
i truly believe the creative process is perfect in this namesake. everyone that is creative is inspired by something that they have seen, or something they have clung onto for many years until eternity. the futuristic vintage is taking what inspired you in the past, making into something in the present, and sending it into the future. perfect, harmonious creativity that channels the very essence of what it took you to cease that particular moment in time to make a statement. and when done well, it is the perfect cycle… both the beginning and ending working together simultaneouly to achieve something great.
thank you for coming here. there is so much gratitude i feel and regardless of where we are in time, the one thing that remains consistent is the fact that what i believe and what i feel about this will never change… because it is what i am to the core.. the futuristic vintage.
