ODESU BEAT is a production duo based out of Atlanta, GA. LAUGH AND THE WORLD LAUGHS WITH YOU, WEEP AND YOU WILL WEEP ALONE is a beat tape / instrumental album inspired by real life events and experiences shared between the 2 producers. The goal was to create soundtracks to various moments of life that overlap between all of us. ODESU BEAT is an homage to 2 iconic men in Korean and Japanese culture, Oh Dae-Su from the Korean film Old Boy and Beat Takeshi from Japan. Both producers pull heavy inspiration from Korean and Japanese culture, mostly from the Korean American experience and Japanese animation.

The journey of self discovery is ugly and gruesome at times, we wanted the artwork to reflect what growth looked like to us as hopeless nerds.
